D: Die Weite, nach der ich mich sehne, liegt nicht im Aussen.
Ich fotografiere draussen — Horizont, Körper, Stille. Unten im Gewölbekeller drucke ich. Zwischen diesen zwei Orten entsteht meine Arbeit. Ich gehe dabei der Frage nach, was ein Ort in mir berührt.
Mich interessieren die Spuren von Präsenz und Atmosphäre — als Abdruck, Erinnerung oder Nachklang.
Im LAB erforsche ich dasselbe durch die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Künstler:innen — als offenes Experiment:

E: The longing I feel for vastness lies not out there.
I photograph outside — horizon, body, stillness. Down in the vaulted cellar, I print. Between these two places, my work comes into being. I follow the question of what a place stirs in me.
I am drawn to the traces of presence and atmosphere — as imprint, memory or resonance.
